01 The short version

Our apps run offline. Your sounds, your studios, and your settings stay on your device. Each app collects a small amount of diagnostic and usage information to help fix bugs and improve the experience, and may show Google AdSense interstitials to keep the app free.

Scribble Apps and Ova Nova do not sell your data. There is no account, no login, and no cloud sync.

02 What we collect

Diagnostic information

When the app crashes or hits an error, we collect anonymous crash reports through the Google Play Console. These reports include the device model, Android version, and a stack trace pointing to where the crash happened. They do not contain your samples or recordings.

Usage information

We collect aggregate, anonymous usage signals - for example, how many users open a screen or how often a feature is used - to understand which parts of the app are useful and which need work. These signals are not tied to your identity.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Our apps may show interstitial advertisements served by Google AdSense and its associated mobile SDKs. To deliver and measure those ads, Google may collect or process information including a device advertising identifier, coarse location, IP address, and limited device data. This is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

You can reset or opt out of the advertising identifier from your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads on most Android devices) and manage personalised ad preferences at adssettings.google.com.

What we do NOT collect

• Your audio recordings or imported samples.
• Your contacts, photos, or files outside the app’s sandbox.
• Precise GPS location.
• Account credentials - there is no account system.

03 Permissions

Our apps request the minimum permissions needed to do their job:

• Microphone - only when you tap record. Used to capture audio for a pad.
• Storage / Media - to import existing audio files you choose, and to save your pads on-device.
• Network - to load advertisements and download crash reports to Google.

04 Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us via the Play Store listing and we will delete it.

05 Your choices

You can uninstall the app at any time to stop all data collection covered by this policy. To request deletion of any diagnostic data tied to your installation, contact us via the Play Store listing.

06 Changes

If this policy materially changes, the “last updated” date at the top will move and we will note the change in the next app update’s release notes.
